Shipping and Delivery Policy

At Baasuri, we aim to make your shopping experience as smooth as possible. Here’s what you can expect with our delivery process:

  • For ready-to-ship items like scatter pillows and lighting, we’ll deliver your order within 10-15 days.
  • For customized products like sofas, large furniture, and some lighting, delivery may take 15-20 days to reach your doorstep.

We deliver most items from Monday to Saturday, and once your shipment is ready to go, you’ll receive an SMS or Whatsapp notification. Our delivery partner may also give you a call to confirm the tentative date and time for delivery. However, as these services are managed by third-party logistics partners, we cannot always guarantee that they will call before arriving.

The delivery personnel will bring your items to the building premises or wherever it is physically possible to deliver. For deliveries to higher floors, please arrange your own labor to carry the items upstairs, as our logistics partners are equipped to deliver to the ground floor or first floor only.

To ensure the safety of your products during transit, we may use Foam and plastic wraps for packaging. We understand that these can be bulky, but they are essential to protect your furniture. If you find any damage or defects, please inform the delivery person and contact Baasuri’s customer care right away. Be sure to note any issues on the Challan/Proof of Delivery (POD). Please remember that the delivery personnel are not authorized to open the crates or packages themselves, and we kindly ask for your cooperation in this matter.

Before placing your order, we recommend checking the dimensions of the furniture to ensure it will fit through your entryways, stairways, and into the intended room. We are not responsible if the furniture does not fit, and any failed deliveries due to refusal or unavailability will incur additional charges. Please provide the correct delivery address and phone number when placing your order, and if you will be unavailable during the delivery window, let us know in advance so we can accommodate your schedule.

In rare cases, some items may be delivered outside the usual time frame due to unforeseen circumstances. Additionally, we reserve the right not to deliver an order if we believe the address is not secure, such as PO Boxes or communal addresses.


Holding Cost or Delayed Delivery Charges

If your order is ready for dispatch but you’ve requested to delay delivery, we’re happy to hold your items for you. We offer a 2-week grace period to hold your order in our warehouse free of charge. After that, a Holding Cost will apply.

  • The Holding Cost is 5% of the total order value per month, with 18% GST applicable.
  • We will send you an email with a breakdown of these charges and bill you pro-rata for the number of days, if less than a month.
  • The Holding Cost must be paid before we dispatch your order from our warehouse.
